In certain high volume payment processing scenarios, payment instruction callouts to Mollie may initially fail and lead to double collections on retry. This has only been observed with a single customer. Because the scenario requires very high payment processing volumes, we do not expect other customers to encounter this issue. FinDock is working directly with the impacted customer to identify and resolve double collections. In addition, we are rolling out this hotfix to harden the Mollie integration and makes it more resistant to possible double-collection scenarios. Most importantly, we implemented a new idempotency key solution that greatly reduces the risk of double collection if a payment instruction callout times out or otherwise fails and is automatically retried. In addition, we: increased timeout duration for callouts from 10 to 60 seconds, improved exception handling behavior, improved how installment states are handled during bulk during processing, and introduced new logic to handle how installments are identified in the event a transaction Id is unavailable.
